To anyone with specific interest towards feminine demons I would recommend a mini-series from HBO called Sharp Objects. I could make an analysis of the themes in this series, but I'd rather not spoil anything. The first half of the series has some expressionistic editing, affecting also the pace of storytelling, which isn't the most fun to watch, but it describes well the subjective experience of the protagonist.
