"Et quod sicut pater alligat filios suos, ita magister discipulos suos alligabit in concordia et amore, ita quod unus detrimentum alterius pacietur nec unus secretum alterius revelabit, sed erunt fideles, unanimes et concordes."
=
"And as a father binds his sons, so the master will bind his disciples in harmony and love, so that each will bear the suffering of the others, nor will one reveal the secrets of another, but they will be faithful, harmonious, and in agreement."
– Liber Iuratus Honorii: The Sworn Book of Honorius, translated by Joseph Peterson

Re: Quotations relevant to the Path
"Is the work now beginning for to erect new temples in the unseen worlds, and to construct sacred ceremonies in a new way? It is certain that no one will be allured to these temples just because it would be according to custom or the public opinion, or because of the outer ceremonies. None will even find one's way here but a lonely wanderer, seeker, the one who reaches out. And this temple is not open only once a week for an official service, but every morning there stands that silent spirit, who has come down from his high abode to serve human beings, when they start to wake up and thirst for life. He offers them a draught of spirit and power from his goblet, before they start their day's work. And even if no one would wander inside, still he will stand his silent vigil, praying blessing for the whole world. His work is the work of eternity; he is not the one living for a fleeting moment. [---]
Let death embrace everything that exists, for life will always renew itself, breathing the eternal being. Let absolute death be the gate to absolute life."
– Tietäjä #4/1912
"Tietäjä" (~Sage, Seer, Wizard) was the name of Pekka Ervast's theosophical journal, where different people wrote with pseudonymes (as was customary back then). This text comes from "-e". The space between my quotes deals with ponderings about the sameness of life and death, and the mystery of their union; I chose to include its end, since it comes so close to our Black credo ("Omnia Mors Poscit"). Since there are no gender related pronouns in Finnish, he=she also in this text.

“We cannot help noticing that, like all propagandists, the apostles of tolerance, truth to tell, are very often the most intolerant of men. This is what has in fact happened, and it is strangely ironical : those who wished to overthrow all dogma have created for their own use, we will not say a new dogma, but a caricature of dogma, which they have succeeded in imposing on the western world in general; in this way there have been established, under the pretext of "freedom of thought," the most chimerical beliefs that have ever been seen at any time, under the form of these different idols, of which we have just singled out some of the more important.”
