Conquest of the Irrational. The picture in this video combined with the ambience music is actually quite terrifying for me...beautiful but terrifying.

I used to be really excited about The Phantom Of The Opera way back when I was a baby bat. Just can't get the same hype anymore, because of such shallow female characters like Christine Daaé who seem to posses no will of her own. Though if I think about the love triad in this musical, it seems that Christine represents phenomenal world, which is the obsession of the Will, the masked Phantom. But what principle or principles can we see in the vicomte Raoul de Chagny?
Anyway, this is a really good piece and Emmy Rossum looks and sings like she was an angel

Re: What are you listening to at the moment?
i have not seen the movie, but the interpretation and this question is forcing me to try and find it somewhere.
The Kate Bush cover was also nice. Have to look up the whole record of Cécile McLorin Salvant.
After listening to mostly some country and film soundtracks for a while, it is nice to indulge in to some cold experimental music of die ANGEL - Yön Magneetti Sine. Lately I haven't listened to experimental music much at all although spending years amongst it. Back then I listened alot of the Lunar era Coil, which is warm, hypnotic and easy to listen despite being experimental. die ANGEL on the other hand is cold, nearly clinical yet it has this hint of homely feeling of morning time fir forest and a house or a cabin. Ilpo Väisänen manages to bring this atmosphere to many of his records.
Also, those who are interested in 90's goth rock, check this gem out: Corpus Delicti.
"Would to God that all the Lord's people were Prophets”, Numbers 11:29 as echoed by William Blake

Fireside Harp Music- Medieval Tavern Ambience. I like to pretend that i am somewhere else, far away in a magical land of adventure and mystery.
